When should You Apply for a UK Visa?

The processing of your visa application takes up to three weeks, so you must apply in advance. The earliest that you should apply for a UK visa is three months before the date you intend to travel.

You can apply for a Standard Visiting Visa if you intend to visit friends, family for leisure purposes, medical treatment, or business meetings. The UK Standard visa is usually valid for six months from the due date of travel. To be eligible, you must meet some requirements:

Step 1

Step 2
